ABOUT THE RECIPE

Yola Mezcal is made in Oaxaca, using sun grown and organic agave. Sustainability is at the heart of the process, giving the brand a unique identity. Prepare a Yola Eastside to enjoy all the flavours of Mexico into a glass.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 and 1/2 oz Yola Mezcal

  • 3/4 oz freshly squeezed lime juice 

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup*

  • 1 / 4 oz cucumber juice

  • half cup of ice

  • fresh mint to garish

*To make simple syrup:

​

  • 1/2 cup hot water

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

PREPARATION

Step 1

 

Prepare the simple syrup: into a small pot add water and sugar, put on the stove at medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves and let cool down.

 

Step 2

 

Into the shaker add Yola Mezcal, simple syrup and cumber juice. Cut the limes and squeeze the juice into the shaker, add ice and shake.

 

Step 3

 

Pour the drink into a glass and garnish with fresh mint.
